Paralysed Star Returns
Stricken with paralysis of the spine nearly 2% years ago, actress Anne Firth found her promising career abruptly halted just at a time she was getting big opportunities on the stage. She was laid up for 18 months, unable to walk and at one time without the use of her arms. Now, fully recovered, she has taken up her career again and is cast for her first film part since her illness. She is to play one of the only two feminine roles in Michael Baloon’s “Scott of the Atlantic” at Ealing Studios—that of Mrs Wilson. She will be appearing opposite Harold Warrender. John Mills has the part of Captain Scott.
