The Mayor, Mr B. S. Barry, and the town clerk, Mr L. D. Lovelock, will be attending the Municipal Cdnference at Napier in February next year. Mr W. Gordon, of the Stratford Rotary Club, has been nominated by the club and recommended by the nominating committee of the 52nd Rotary District as district governor for the 1949-50 year, beginning next September. The nomination will go before the district conference.
