Ship Goes Aground At Tikitere

WJiile manoeuvring into berth at ■the wharf at Tikitere, Ohiwa Har'bour, about 6.30 on Wednesday morning, the Northern Steamship ■Company’s coastal vessel m.v. Toa, ran aground on a sandbank just off 'the wharf. Although not caught fast the ship was unable to hiove off for •some hours. The tide was falling fast when 'the vessel grounded and she had to wait until the next tide before moving. Little difficulty was experienced in saling off the sandbank. The Toa was able to load without any further delay and sailed yesterday for Auckland.
