School Fair
Fine weather drew a large crowd to the Whakatane District High School yesterday for a fair, conducted by the children to raise funds to purchase a vacuum cleaner for the school. Stalls,did a brisk trade while a drill display showed that a lot of training had been done for the day. Some of the girls showed off dresses made during the year in a mannequin parade. *
