XMAS AND NEW YEAR OHOPE AND WHAKATANE BUS SERVICE Every day from Monday, 20th December to Friday 24th, a matinee bus will leave Anzac Avenue at 1.5 p.m. via No. 1 route, returning from Rock after matinee approximately 4 p.m. This is in addition to ordinary shoppers’ bus. Xmas Eve. Extra buses leave Rock for Ohope at 4.40 p.m., 5.10 p.m. and 6 p.m. Xmas Eve night buses leave Anzac Avenue at 7 and 7.30 p.m. and Ohope at 6.30 and 7 p.m. returning from Rock according. to public demand. Picture bus will run at usual times from Ohope and Kopeopeo every night between Xmas and New Year. Sunday timetable will apply on all actual holidays in the Xmas and New Year period. Specials to Ohope Sports on New Year’s Day will leave Anzac Avenue, via King Street and Rock at 9 a.m., 10.30 a.m., 12 noon and 1.30 p.m., returning approximately 5 p.m. and 6 p.m. On Tuesday, 21st December the 9.20 a.m. and 1.50 p.m. town bus will continue to Ohope and return at 10.20 a.m. and 3 p.m. As from Monday, December 20 the 8 a.m. from Whakatane to Ohope and the 8.20. a.m. from Ohope will be discontinued for the duration of the school holidays. NO BUSES XMAS DAY.
