Judges appointed by the British Home Knitting Council are busy judging tens of thousands of entries front the knitters of Britain in the Council’s competition whiph has just closed. When Britain’s No. 1 Knitter has been selected she will receive the 1948 gold medal and a cash prize of £250. The Council hopes that thousands of the garments entered for the competition will eventually be on sale in the shops.
