Final P. & T. Technician Leaves
The final technician who remained behind at Whakatane to complete the installing of the new telephone exchange, left on Friday. He will join the other engineers at Hamilton East, where they are to instal a new exchange similar to that at. present in use at Whakatane. Win For Whakatane Playing for the Watt Cup at Opotiki on Saturday Whakatane B team defeated Opoiiki B by 10 matches to six.
