Druids' Card Evening
The seventh and final of a series ; of flag 500 card evenings organised jby the Whakatane Druids’ Lodge, | was held in the Parish Hall on Mon--1 day evening, j There was a fair at- : tendance of card enthusiasts who spent an enjoyable evening, which concluded with a tasty home-made supper served by women members. Mr J. D. . Rivett thanked those who had attended the series and stated that if support warranted, the Lodge ' would give consideration to . run- , ning another series in the New J Year. Prize winners were: Mrs J. D. Rivett, Messrs R. Schou, Pratt arid R. Morgan. Booby prizes: Mr , and Mrs Parsons and Mrs Corcoran | and Miss White. Winners of Aggre- , gate prizes: Ladies, Miss N. Rivett; | men, Mr R. Morgan.
