Edgecumfoe’s 8 Point • Win Over Te Teko In glorious summery weather Edgecumbe after being 11 runs behind in the first innings, beat the clock and Te Teko to an 8 point win at Te Teko last. Sunday. After making 53 to Edgecumbe’s 42 in the first irfnings Te Teko were dismissed for 35 by extremely good bowling on Edgecumbe’s part. Edgecumbe were then left with a chance for victory by producing 47 runs with slightly under an hour’s playing time left on a very tricky wicket. This made an extremely interesting finish to a very sporting match, when the winning run was produced in the last over. The outfield, which had just been cut and cleared, made a very nice setting for the game and is a credit to the Te Teko Cricket Club. Individual scores:— Te Teko, Ist innings: T. Lyon 1, J.
