CHILDREN’S XMAS PARTY

The Edgecumbe Church of England Sunday School held its Christmas Party at the home of Mrs R. Ferguson on Saturday afternoon, when weather was beautiful. Everyone had an enjoyable time. The children played various games and competitions, the paper chase being won by Marjorie Proffit. Afternoon tea was served on the lawn, the children doing full justice to the occasion, ice cream and soft drinks being very much enjoyed. Highlight of tho afternoon was the arrival of Santa Claus, who shook hands with each child, and presented a gift and a bag of sweets.
