Bleats And Petals
While filming scenes near Dunsmuir, California, the location crew of Eagle-Lion’s cinecolour production of “Red Stallion,” had to send back to the studio twice for artificial flowers. A herd of nubian goats grazing near the location site, developed a liking for the fake petals and nibbled away at them as soon as they were set into the ground to “dress” a scene for the next sequence. A liberal dosage of red pepper on the flowers didn’t help at all. \
