Large Crowd Sees School Sports At Whakatane
A large crowd of parents and friends attended the Whakatane District High School sports, held at the showgrounds yesterday. The weather was perfectly fine until the last event, when rain commenced to fall in the afternoon. Competition was keen amongst the four houses, Ngarimu with 214 gaining the greatest number of points. Elliot with 181 was second and then came Freyberg with 179 and Ward with 137.
