Winter Show Assn . To Buy Power Plant
Permission to spend up to £BOO to purchase an electric power plant, with a view to holding a show next year, was given the executive of the Bay of Plenty Winter Show Association, at an extraordinary gen- . eral meeting at Whakatane last night. There was some objection during a long discussion, but the motion, which was moved by Mr A. J. Canning, was carried and the committee met latter to consider action which will also include urgent building repairs.- '
