Box 1 Ohope for reservations. 16 PROPOSED RURAL FIRE DISTRICT It is proposed under Forest and Rural Fires Act, 1947, to constitute an area in Auckland Land District, Whakatane County containing approx 52,700 acres, bounded on east by Te Teko-Gal; tea Road and extending westwards approx 10 miles and southwards from Te Teko some 15 miles, to be known as Matahina Rural Fire District. Plan of area and full details of proposal may be seen in Te Teko Post Office.
