Professor W. Riddet, vice-prin-cipal of Massey Agricultural College, has been appointed to represent the College for a further term on the New Zealand Dairy Factory Managers’ Registration Board. Professor I. L. Campbell was appointed as the College representative on the Pig Industry Council. Mr D. C. Mackenzie NDH (N.Z.), FRIH (N.Z.) superintendent of parks and reserves- at Palmerston North, has been appointed to membership of the horticultural advisory committee of Massey Agricultural College. Mr B. G. Moodie,' of Epsom, Auckland; has been appointed to a temporary position as assistant lecturer in sheep husbandry at Massey College. Miss Dorothy Whyte, N.D A. N.D.D., who left the West of Scotland Agricultural College 18 months ago to become analyst in the biochemistry department of Massey Agricultural College, has resigned as from the end of this year, in view of her approaching marriage to Mr John Clark, a Gisborne sheepfarmer. Miss B .G. Moore, formerly on the staff of the Palmerston North Public Library, has taken up a position as assistant librarian at Massey Agricultural College. She succeeds Miss Joan Swinbourn, now chief librarian with the Department of Agriculture, Wellington. v .
