Special Exams For Ex-Servicemen

Special examinations for ex-ser-vicemen who have had at least three full years of service will be conducted by the University of New Zealand in March, 1949, and in March, 1950. As in recent years, these examinations will include the subjects of the Professional Accountancy qualification, and the subjects of the Solicitors’ Professional qualification, Divisions 11, 111 and IV.

This information has been received by the N.Z.R.S.A. following discussions on the subject between the N.Z.R-S.A. Dominion Vice-President (Mr H. B. Burdekin) and the University of New Zealand authorities. ' The Registrar of the N.Z. University further stated that the War Concessions ■ Committee had agreed that the usual rule regarding Inarks concessions will apply to these examinations, that is, marks concessions will be allowable to men who, at the time of the examination, have not been demobilised for- more than two academic years.
