TENNIS OPENING DAY ON TANEATUA COURTS

The Taneatua Tennis Club season was opened in perfect weather on Saturday. There was a good attendance of members and prospective members. Mrs H. Hill, president opened play and'wished members a good playing season. A Yankee Tournament was won by Mrs A. Sisam (women’s section) while five men tied for first place. In a draw, B. Olliver was the winner.

A special prize donated by Mrs Hill for most points in the junior section was won by Miss-Gael Carpenter.
