RANGITAIKI PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH ROSE SHOW AT EDGECUMBE WAS HIGHLY SUCCESSFUL GATHERING
Full credit is due to a team of ' hard-working officials and helpers, whose efforts were easily recognisable in the smooth organisation of the show. Miss J. C. Murray, secretary, handled her heavy task ad- : mirably. Special trophies were presented in the evening by Mr J. Neilsen, who announced that, in the child.ren’s classes, so many had gained -equal points that it had been decided, instead of giving a points prize, to increase the value of all first prizes in that section. Mrs Woollett, who had scored most points in the vegetable section, won a novel prize, a beautiful iris “bloom and some plants. . Entertainers at the concert were, Mesdames E.
