Clarke Shield Cricket Close Scoring At Taneatua
P. and T. played Taneatua at Taneatua in the first game of the season in good weather. Each batsman was a bit dull in the first innings but as the day went on all players settled down and a good day’s sport was the result. Being the first game of the season the bowlers had a few loose balls and finally settled down to their old form again. Although P. and T. were beaten by only 3 runs in the first innings they made a run for it in the second, but were beaten by time.
