Szabados To Tour Again
Bobby Riggs plans to drop tennis: for a few months after November and tour Australia as a table tennis player in December and January, later going on to New ealand. His partner will be former world charm pion table tennis wizard Michael Szabados who visited Whakatane this year. Szabados said in Sydney last week that he and Riggs expected to make £2OOO each in a two months’ ■Australian tour of 40 matches and they anticipated good “gates” in New Zealand also. Szabado:\ savi I Riggs reminded him of the Englishman, Fred Perry, who was formertable tennis champion of the world as well as world tennis ace.
