Whakatane Men's Golf
Saturday's Four-ball, best-ball hogey, was won by Clavis and Wales 4 up, followed by Conway and Barry and Dawson and Akel 3 up. Next Saturday's competition will be a four-ball aggregate' stabl<jford. Closing day at Whakatane linkri has been postponed until November 20. Arrangements are in hand to play a Champion of Champions match at the Whakatane links on November 14, when club champions from Rotorua, Tauranga, Te Puke, Mi Maunganui, Whakatane, Opotiki, Waimana and Te Teko are expected to compete. In conjunction with that match, four players frdrn each club will take part in ; a team's, match.
