Swimming Schools

To meet the ever-increasing need for instructors for Youth and other organisations, the American Red Cross has organised annual national aquatic schools. These classes last 10 days and are held in camp in the month of June ,or later in the year. The American Red Cross National Aquatic Schools were establish-, ed in 1922 and have become more and more successful; during the first year about 200 people took the course, while in 1947, 30 schools were conducted for 3,272 trainees.
