LAND TAX PAYABLE BY* COMPANIES In accordance with Order-in-Council dated 6th October, 1948, it is hereby notified that land-tax on land held by companies, leviable under the above Act is payable at any office of the Land and Income Tax Department or at any moneyorder post office in one sum on Wednesday, 27th October, 1948. The liability is not suspended by any objection, and the tax must be paid on or before Wednesday, 17th November, 1948, to avoid the additional percentage; any overpayment will be refunded. Demands will be issued on or about 20th October, 1948, and must be presented with all payments.
