After having seen most of the countries in the world, Mr arid Mrs T. W. Margrie, of Bournemouth, England, consider that there is nothing to equal New Zealand scenery. Mr Margrie, who is a retired bank manager, said in an interview that he had travelled extensively through Europe and had been in the United States and Canada. Last year he made an extensive tour of Africa. After having seen all these countries, he is convinced that none can beat New Zealand for beauty and variety of scenery. ■ “Even the gorse here is magnificent, though I know you people think it is a plague,” Mr Margrie added.
