Would Like Stage Role
Sweden’s favourite star, Frank Sundstrum, would like to do a good role in an American ■ stage production—and will if the right offer comes along. ■ Sundstrom, cast as Tchaikovsky in Allied Artists’ “Song Of My Heart” says a good stage role helps any screen actor. “Sure, I’d be happy to go on the stage for a while, if I could find a really good part. I wouldn’t, of course, step into just anything” says the Swede who makes his screen debut in the music-filled film based on Tchaikovsky’s life. “Some actors are of the belief that' they should stay within one field of acting. I don’t agree with them. I think any screen actor bene-, fits from a change of media; it’s the variety, after all, that puts the spice into the career as well as into life.”
