BROKEN BOTTLES
Sir, —I was glad to see that the broken bottle menace was before the last meeting of the County Council, who decided to refer the matter to the Police. ' But will more rigid supervision of dance halls overcome the evil that is rampant amongst us? Are not broken lives, slaves to 'the drink habit, a worse menace to our society than broken bottles? Yours etc., WHITE RIBBON.
