Waimana Pedigree Bull Sale

Messrs Dalgety and Co. Ltd., report having held their first annual Waimana Pedigree Jei’sey Bull Sale on Wednesday. The total yarding of frulls submitted to a very representative bench of buyers from Opotiki, Waimana, Taneatua and Whakatane districts, were in first class order. Practically the whole of the catalogued bulls came forward. The 2-year-old bulls* in particular, commanded spirited bidding, while the yearling bulls with few exceptions, were not so keenly sought after. The vendors in most cases met the market and practically a total clearance was effected. The 2-year bulls ranged from 23 to 40gns" while the yearlings changed hands at from 10 to 25gns.
