Edgecumbe Ambulance Brigade Re-Forming

At a meeting on Tuesday evening •at Edgecumbe the foundation was laid for. the re-forming of the St. . John Division in Edgecumbe. Members of the various sports bodies in the district had co-operated well with the sub-committee of the Edge»cumbe Progress Association, and had enlisted a good number of new : recruits. A special vote of thanks was expended to Mr Massey for his help : given to the sub-committee, and also for the large number of new re- • cruits he himself had obtained. Mr Massey in turn thanked the •members of the sub-committee for -their interest and the support they had given. 4 . After arrangements had been made for an early commencement -of a series of lectures the meeting was brought to a close.
