Parent-Teacher Social At Awakeri

The Awakeri Hall was packed on the occasion of the recent social and dance organised by the. ParentTeacher Association. A bright musical programme presented between dances was much appreciated. The programme consisted of playacting and harmony by the senior pupils of the school, a duet by the Anderson Sisters, Gay and Lesley, elocution by Miss Lorna Alley and instrumental solos and trios by Mrs G. E. Peebles, Messrs A. Blake and E. G. Anderson. Messrs Mick Penny and E. G. Anderson supplied. dance music. ' " A tasty supper was dispensed by the laidies’ committee.
