Small Shelves Help

It is surprising how much a little strip of wood, placed in just the right spot will do to increase our comfort and convenience. There is a small shelf close to the hall door for letters, parcels and a gay welcoming flower arrangement. And then a corner shelf set over a small cupboard—no need for a cumbersome sideboard in this room. -A light fixed below the mantleshelf, over the stove, is a great comfort to the cook. Have the switch put at its side so that the light is immediately turned off after use.
