BOUQUET FOR ANNEXE

Sir,—With reference to the letter from “Country Cousin” praising conditions in Whakatane Hospital; I should like to add my endorsement of the excellent treatment, not only skilled but so warmingly sympathetic, given there. I am referring to the Annexe, and I have as a basis for. comparison an experience in an English maternity hospitai (in London!) which was far from happy. I therefore feel that the treatment I have received in “Whakatane fully bears out New ‘Zealand’s reputation for the highest ideals in maternity and child welfare. 7 | . ( Yours etc., ' V. DREGHORN.
