Victoria Cross Awards
The official list of Victoria Cross holders has now been completed. It contains 1335 names. Six hundred and thirty-two names were added in the First World War, and 181 in the Second World War, of which 74 were from the Commonwealth 1 . When the First World War began there were already 522 winners of the V.C.
