New Bowling Club

A meeting of the newly-formed Ohope Bowling Club at the weekend fixed the opening day for October 2, when the Club will welcome visitors and- intending members to the green. Afternoon tea arrangements are in the hands of Mrs Millar, who Will be assisted by wives of members bringing plates. Old hands say the green . is in great heart and, with the gentle rain of the past few days, shows every sign of being in perfect play-' ing order.
