National Savings Stamps

National Savings Stamps issued shortly after the inception of the National Savings scheme as a facility for people to save small amounts were withdrawn on June 30 last. Their sale had fallen away since the termination of the war. £52,000 worth of these stamps were sold, and to date all but £7,600 worth have been redeemed. Any National Savings stamps held should blow be redeemed. Any of these stamps, irrescective of amount are acceptable at Post Office Savings-bank, School Savings-bank or National Savings deposits, or they may be redeemed in cash at the Post Office.
