Library Of Text Books For Nurses

Taking the view that to buy text books places something of a strain on a nurse trainee’s meagre salary, the Bay of Plenty Hospital Board decided yesterday to - - establish a library of text books for nurses in training. A suggestion that nurses 'completing their initial training here and going on to further their studies be given sets of books was shelved for future consideration. The chairman, Mr J. Mullins, suggested the question might be considered by the Hospital Board’s Association.
