Wainui Y.F.C. Meets
With an excellent attendance of fifteen members, the newly-formed Wainui Young Farmers' Club held the first of its monthly meetings on Tuesday night. After the secretary had read the minutes of the previous meeting and the report by the district chairman, Mr E. R. Marryatt, district secretary addressed the meeting and gave very useful help and advice on drawing up a programme for the remainder. of the year. It was decided that a meeting be held on the 21st and impromptu speeches be heard for the purpose of selecting a debating team. The meeting also> decided to arrange two .field days later in the year. A vote of thanks to Mr Marryatt for his valuable assistance was carried by acclamati©n.
