“Purity” Cultists Nude Protest
Paris Gendarmes chased a girl student who was strolling naked down a street in the Paris suburb of Chaville. When they caught her she told them she was protesting against the conviction of her “Master”—the selfstyled High Priest Ivanoff. Ivanoff recently was sent 'to jail for 10 years for having held orgies in the name of his “Purity Cult.” Gendarmes found the girl’s clothing at the edge of a pond. When charged with having violated public decency, the girl said she had taken a “purifying dip” in the pond. *
