Objections to this Scheme must be lodged within one month of publication of this notice with Secretary, Local Government Commission, Box 30, Govt. Buildings, Wellington. The date for this purpose will be deemed to be 3rd October, 1948. If within time specified no objections are received Commission will proceed to approve of Scheme as a Final Scheme. Copies of this Scheme may be viewed at offices of Opotiki County Council, Opotiki, Whakatane County Council, Whakatane, and at office of Local Government Commission, Wellington. SCHEDULE All that area containing approx 4000 acres being part of Opotiki County and situated in Blocks 11, 111, V, VI and VII, Whakatane S.D., bounded by a line commencing at a point in Block 111 aforesaid at eastern end of Ohope Beach, being westernmost corner of Lot 140 (Recreation Reserve) as shown on plan numbered 22193, deposited in Office of District Land Registrar at Auckland, being part of Allot 246 A No. 2, Waimana Parish, and running easterly along shore of Bay of Plenty, and southerly and westerly generally along shores of Ohiwa Harbour to south-west corner of Allot 252, Waimana Parish; thence along a right line to the southern extremity of Allot 249, Waimana Parish (Ohakana Island);' thence along another right line to a point 1000 links distant from and due west of Whitiwhiti Point, being north-western extremity of Allot 127, Waimana Parish; thence along another right line to a p6int being intersection of northern boundary of that part of Lot 2 to north-west of Wainui Road, as shown on plan numbered 12843, deposited as afore'said, with Mean High Water Mark of Ohiwa Harbour aforesaid; thence westerly generally along said northern boundary and along a right line being last mentioned boundary produced across aforesaid Wainui Road to its western side; thence northerlv generally along boundary of Whakatane County as described in' N.Z.
