Sonnie Hale The Farmer
When Sonnie Hale relaxes from his stage and screen work he likes to go to his farm in Cornwall where he specialises in breeding pedigree Ayrshire cattle. He is a fully registered farmer, and during the war. added to his land to assist in the war effort. When staying at his country cottage he likes to become a regular country gentleman—which he interprets as' wearing his oldest clothes to go and milk the cows or shoot rabbits! Another thing he likes to do \s to fish for mackerel and then cook them over an oil stove. Sonnie is also a keen sports fan.
