TITULAR TITLES AND IRON CURTAINS

Sir, —Despite the supposed independence of this country'under the Statute of Westminster the signing of the international trade organisation charter, under the heading of the Geneva and Havana agreements, is the handing over of the Economic Independence of this country, just a?-, fully as if we had signed the Eretton Woods Pact. The signing of the Havana Agreement will be the last act, when the iron curtain will be rung down over the stage of our economic interdependence, and the Sovereign Independence of this country will not be worth the paper it was written on. As I have pointed out previously, the Bretton Woods, Geneva and Havana agreements are the nails in "the coffin of “John Brown”, being the preamble to a servile State under the economic control of the international banker, and the Statute of Westminster becomes the Titular Titles. Therefore I would ask why the people of this country are not consulted on such drastic changes? And why is it that the Opposition cannot, or will not, appeal to the country? I am afraid there is something very wrong. The analysis of our political economy will give you the answer: Why? Yours etc., W. BRADSHAW.
