Rainstorm Delays Production
The worst rainstorm for 35 years delayed the early shots of Michael [Balcon's second Australian picture, i "Eureka Stockade," now in production. Rain came down the day the unit began work, and it rained almost continuously for five weeks—a record rainfall for December. Chips Rafferty, of "Overlanders" fame, is starring, with a cast sent out from Britain, which ,- includes Jane Barrett, Gordon Jackson, Peter Illing and Jack Lambert.
