Whakatane Men’s Golf: Two Cup Finals Decided
The second qualifying round for the club championships resulted in some excellent scoring. The concurrent medal was won by L. Berg 85 —16—69. I. Wylds, 75—4—71, was second on the count back from N. Ducker 78—7—71, D. Morpeth 79 B—7l, A. Mprpetn 81—10—71, R. Combes 83—12—71, and K. Hannah 83—12—71. Re-handicap: Berg 14. Two cup finals have been decided. Clarke Cup: Burke beat Bridger. Reynolds Cup: Akel beat Canning. The third qualifying round for the championships will ha played on, Saturday.,
