| As a result of trial matches and ' a seven-a-side tournament, the folj lowing .players have been chosen to practise in order that a final selection may be made for the Represen- , tative teams to play for the Tai j Mitchell Shield at Rotorua in the | first week of the August school holi- ' days:— I Backs: 'B. The team will travel to Rotorua on Monday, August 23, will play matches, on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday and return home pn Friday. While in Rotorua, boys will be billeted and ’entertained by the Rotorua Primary Schools’ Sub-Un-The eighteen players chosen in the final selection have to supply their own football boots, black shorts • and stockings. As the Union hopes to .arrange transport to and from Rotorua by private car, the management would appreciate parents dr supporters who pan assist in the matter notifying the secretary. At the conclusion of the tournament it is probable that a Bay of Plenty Primary Representative team, t will be selected to play a match against Thames Valley at Tauranga. Teams taking part in the tournament are Rangitaiki, Whakatane, 1 Opotiki, Te Puke, Tauranga and Ro- ’ torua.
