Reward For Effort
Four hundred thousand Polish workers will holiday this summer by sea or on mountains, compared with 150,000 last year. Another 100,000 will have threeweek visits to resorts for cures, in addition to their annual holidays. These holidays are granted through the trade unions, and special privileges go to workers who have improved techniques and production in mining, textile and other key industries.
