Whakatane, or Phone 117 R. _ 264 ' BAY OF PLENTY ELECTRICPOWER BOARD PUBLIC NOTICE OF PROPOSED APPLICATION FOR SANCTION OF LOAN Notice is hereby given that * the Bay of Plenty Electric-Power Board proposes at its meeting to. be held on the 10th day of August 1948 to consider a motion to apply to the Local Government Loans Board for its sanction to- the borrowing of the sum of £45,000 (Forty-five thousand pounds) for the purpose of further reticulation of electric power within the whole of the Bay of Plenty Electric-power District. , The security of such loan shall be a special rate of l/32d (one thirty second of one penny) in the £ on the rateable unimproved value of all rateable property in the Bay of Plenty Electric-power District.
