The medal round played' in conjunction with the first qualifying round of the championships was won by Ducker 77—8—69, followed by Bushett 89—18—71, on the count back from Morgan 97—26—71. The secon£ qualifying round for the championships, which was to have been played next Saturday, has been postponed one week in order that outstanding cup and flight matches may be brought up-to-date. • Re-handicap: Ducker 7.
