Whakatane High First XV Defeated By Te Puke Team
A party of sixty-nine Whakatane District High School pupils travelled to Te Puke last week to play* Rugby football and basketball mat-, ches against Te Puke High. The three basketball teams A. B and 'D and the junior Rugby team weighing 8.7 won their matches easily, but the High School first XV was defeated by a small margin. Results were:— Basketball Whakatane A 31 Te Puke 14.
