Removing Ink Stain
It is amazing how much ink can came out of a bottle when it falls on 1 to a carpet or rug. Act quickly before the fluid has had time to soak into the pile. Mop up as much as you can with blotting paper, then rub the place with a damp cloth, rinsing it frequently in clean water. When you have removed as much of the ink as possible cover the stain with baking powder or cream of tartar and moisten it with lemon juice or vinegar. If these remedies are not available, dip a rag in skimmed milk and rub well, then shampoo the place afterwards with carpet soap.
