Spread Of Communism
A warning that Communism would make headway if the conditions of the depression were alJowed to return, was given by Mr C. R. Petrie (Otahuhu), in the House of Representatives, when he claimed Communism would never make any progress under the present Government. “I have no interest in Communists or Communism, and I'm not afraid of Communism spreading in New Zealand unless we get a Tory Government,” said Mr Petrie.
