Te Puke Basketball
Three teams from the Whakatane Basketball Association travelled to Te Puke on Saturday for challenge matches against Rotorna Catholic Maoris, Te Puke A and B and friendly matches against Tauranga. Rotoruae Catholic Maoris were the winners of the tournament. Results:— Whakatane A 12 Rotorua Catholic Maoris 19; Whakatane B 22 Te Puke/ A 10; Whakatane CUS Te Puke C 4; Whakatane B 11 Whakatane C 9; Whakatane B 9 Rotorua Catholic Maoris 15.
